Roasted Golden Beets

Chili and thyme makes this side particularly tasteful and colorful

BT's Roasted Golden Beets

Ingredients:

2 pounds (1 kilo) golden beets

4 tablespoons (60 ml) olive oil

1 green aleppo chili

Fresh thyme

6 cloves fresh garlic

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Scrub beets until skin is clean

Quarter beets

Put beets in baking dish

Add garlic cloves

Nestle chili and thyme between beets

Pour oil on top of ingredients

Sprinkle salt and sugar

Roast at 400 F. (200 C.) for 30 minutes
